Dance the Magic is an event production company that brings youth dancers to perform at spectacular venues such as the Disney Parks, Universal Orlando, Broadway in New York City and at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Sales Coordinator
Dance the Magic seeks a Sales Coordinator to provide sales and operational support to the Events Team. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the dance industry and a passion for the performing arts. They must possess a positive attitude and be excited to be a team player and work together on a close-knit team. This role will require heavy outbound calling and emailing with a monthly activities goal. All applicants must be highly detail oriented, exhibit superb relationship building and problem solving skills, and work well in close contact with others.
This position will be hourly & full time, 40 hrs/week at our Huntington Beach, CA headquarters. To help ensure your safety and provide you with peace of mind, we require all of our employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. The Sales Coordinator will occasionally be required to work outside normal business hours.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct lead outreach and follow up via phone and email
- Meet or exceed a monthly activities goal
- Work with Director of Sales & Marketing to create and develop new lead follow up strategies
- Gain a full understanding of event goals and assist in meeting/exceeding goals
- Create and foster relationships with current and new dance studio accounts
- Fulfill and ship apparel orders received from the online Dance the Magic Boutique
- Represent Dance the Magic at occasional trade shows and industry events
- Provide operational support to Event Team when needed
- Provide occasional social media content support for Dance the Magic’s Instagram & TikTok
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in Sales
- Experience with and knowledge of Salesforce or similar software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Superb telephone skills
- Knowledge of the dance industry and passion for the performing arts
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to collaborate
- Willingness and eagerness to learn
- Outgoing self starter

Event Manager
Dance the Magic seeks an Event Manager to provide operational support to the Event Team and be the main point of contact for select Dance the Magic events. This position will report directly to the Director of Events. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the dance industry and a passion for the performing arts. They must possess a positive attitude and be excited to be a team player and work together on a close-knit team. All applicants must be highly detail oriented, tech savvy, exhibit superb relationship building and problem solving skills, and work well in close contact with others.
This position will be full time & salaried, 40 hrs/week at our Huntington Beach, CA headquarters. To help ensure your safety and provide you with peace of mind, we require all of our employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. The Event Manager will occasionally be required to work outside normal business hours and must be available for all assigned event weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Create and foster relationships with current and new dance studio accounts
- Manage Room Blocks for Dance the Magic Events in Passkey
- Cross check packages between Passkey and DTM Online Registration
- Provide Hotel Confirmation numbers to Studio Directors & Families
- Assist Studio Directors with Online Registration questions
- Update Event Records in Salesforce with current registration numbers
- Log communications with all Studio Directors in Salesforce
- Collect and organize Disney and Dance the Magic waivers
- Pull and organize event reports (t-shirt report, allergy reports, etc)
- Serve as the main point of contact for studio directors while on-site
- Other event support tasks as assigned by the Director of Events
Basic Qualifications:

- Experience or Knowledge of Salesforce or similar software
