Dance the Magic Showcase

Share your studio’s creativity in our Dance the Magic Showcase inside the Disney Parks and on Broadway in New York City!  Studios will have the opportunity to perform their own choreography on a spectacular Disney stage in an eclectic showcase with studios from around the world for select Dance the Magic events.

 SUBMIT STUDIO ROUTINES:

Studios will submit a video along with an Audition Request Form for any routines they wish to perform in the Dance the Magic Showcase.  Since we are a part of Disney’s Entertainment schedule, stage time is limited. Our goal is to highlight as many dancers as possible during our time at the venue.  We highly suggest featuring as many performers as possible in each routine submitted to ensure the maximum amount of stage time for your studio. Routines will be selected based on routine length, knowledge of routine, and the overall show quality of the performance.

Starting in 2018, the routine length will be based on the number of dancers in that routine. New time limits seen below:

10-24 Dancers in routine= 3-Minute max.

25+ Dancers in routine = 4-Minute max.

PRODUCTION ROUTINES:

Dancers will have the chance for an additional performance opportunity for select Dance the Magic events.  Our Dance the Magic Production Routine features studios in specialized number mixing custom Dance the Magic choreography and with the unique styles of each studio.  Dancers will learn their sections at their studio, then bring it all together at rehearsal prior to their showcase performance.
